We do not own our life, it is from God. We only live the life we
are given and we have no right to end it in whatever way we pleased.
And when the time comes that He takes it back, we should humbly
surrender it back to Him in the manner He appointed.
On the cross, Christ demonstrated how to overcome the fleshly fear of the pain and indignity of suffering in the process of dying. By entrusting your whole being to God in the final moment of your earthly life, every bit of your suffering turns into a pure and humble redemptive act that honors and glorifies God's almightiness.
